Job Details and Responsibilities

Vacant Position: General Manager (Counter Gas Theft Operations)

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of Counter Gas Theft Operations: Oversee and manage operations aimed at reducing gas theft within the distribution network. This includes strategizing and implementing measures to prevent and detect gas theft, coordinating with law enforcement agencies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of professionals dedicated to monitoring and enforcing anti-theft operations. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team operates effectively and efficiently.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to combat gas theft, including the use of advanced technology and innovative solutions. Regularly review and update plans to adapt to emerging threats and challenges.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, regulatory agencies, and community leaders, to foster cooperation and support for anti-theft initiatives.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of all anti-theft operations. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and relevant authorities.

Educational and experience requirements

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with additional certifications or advanced degrees in management, administration, or related fields.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the energy sector. Experience in anti-theft operations, law enforcement coordination, and strategic planning will be highly valued.
